Terms of Service
Here's the agreement between you and Jonathan Carpenter when you shop with us or use our site (bk2nji-xa.myshopify.com). Read it — it's built to be fair on both sides.
By using the site or placing an order, you're saying you're on board with these terms.
01. Who's who
Us: Jonathan Carpenter, a small business operating from the United States. You: anyone visiting the site or placing an order.
02. Who can buy
You've got to be 18 or older (or have a parent or guardian's okay), and legally able to enter a contract under U.S. law. That's it.
03. Your account
If you make an account with us, keep your login safe. Whatever happens under your login, we treat as you. See something weird? Email us and we'll help lock it down.
04. How orders work
You place the order → we send you a confirmation → the deal is on.
Before that confirmation lands, we can still say no. Common reasons:
- The item just sold out
- Something in the price or description was wrong
- The order looks fraudulent
- The order breaks these terms
If we cancel after you've paid, you get a full refund, no drama.
05. Prices
- All prices are in U.S. dollars.
- Prices can change without notice, but the price you saw at checkout is what you pay for that order.
- If a price is obviously wrong (typo, decimal in the wrong spot), we may cancel rather than honor it — full refund if you already paid.
06. Paying
Pay through any method offered at checkout. By hitting "place order," you're confirming you're allowed to use the payment method you chose.
07. Shipping + returns
- Shipping — covered by our Shipping Policy.
- Returns & refunds — covered by our Return and Refund Policy.
Both are part of these terms.
08. Product info
We describe products as best we can — real photos, honest specs. Minor differences in color, texture, or dimension (from screens, from natural materials) are normal and not defects.
09. What's ours
Everything on the site is ours or licensed to us. That includes:
- Text and copy
- Photos and illustrations
- Design and layout
- Code
- The "Jonathan Carpenter" name
You can browse, share links, and save pages for personal reference. You can't republish, commercialize, or scrape any of it without our written okay.
10. What you can't do
Don't use the site to:
- Break the law
- Try to hack or overload it
- Send spam, malware, or malicious code
- Use bots or scrapers
- Impersonate anyone
Break these rules and we may cut off your access.
11. Real talk on warranties
The site and products are provided "as is" and "as available." We don't offer formal warranties beyond what U.S. consumer law requires. Something wrong? Email us. We fix things.
12. What we're liable for
- Direct claims — capped at what you paid for the product in question.
- Indirect losses (lost profits, lost time, hypothetical damages) — we're not on the hook.
13. Ending access
We can end your access to the site if you break these terms.
14. Which laws apply
U.S. federal law + the laws of the state where our business is registered. Any lawsuit lives in those courts.
15. Updates
We might update these terms. New version takes effect when we post it. Keep using the site = you accept the new version.
